Initially, ADG supported governments using Burroughs (now Unisys) computers. In 1984, ADG developed a Revenue and Expense Distribution System for the Oil and Gas Industry written in Cobol. Later in 1985, ADG developed a complete Membership Tracking System for a Colorado association in the "Progress" 4th generation language and database.
Since 1985, ADG had been developing applications with Progress for our clients. Our primary focus are applications for City, County and Non-Profit Organizations. Our Utility Billing System was first released in 1986, closely followed by the Fund Management and Payroll Systems. With each application, we continueally add enhancement to provide a feature rich and easy-to-use system.
Since 2003, ADG has been working on a large-scale redevelopment of our existing suite of applications. We have abandonded the Progress database and 4GL language and chose to develop the browser based applications in HTML, PHP, and Javascript. We also support a number of SQL databases. We have taken our 25+ years of experience and are merging it with the new technologies begin offered by the web, to create powerful, use-to-ease, easy-to-access systems. For a list of supported platforms, see our New Technologies page.
ADG's business plan is to only add 6 to 8 new customers per year. Our emphasis is not on new sales, but customer satisfaction. We work very hard for our customers to satisfy their needs creating great working relationships.
